Job Description:
The selected applicant will work as part of a larger team to provide support to existing production applications and working directly with clients, will be performing technical analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and implementation of changes, modifications and enhancements to legacy steel applications.

+ Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing legacy application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity.
+ Qualifications include good organizational skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, good time management skills, ability to work independently and effectively communicate with team members and customers.
+ The applicant must be capable of working at a broad technical level and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems development.
+ Position requires 5+ years of programming and related experience as outlined above.
+ Skills and tools may include (but not limited to): COBOL, DLI, IMS, MFS, DLT0, Debugger, Syncsort, TSO and other IBM Z/OS mainframe technologies and utilities. ADF, SAS, MQSeries and .NET experience are pluses. Previous experience supporting steel industry applications preferred.
_Education and Experience Required:_
+ Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree and up to two years of experience.
_Knowledge and Skills:_
+ 2 or more years experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) COBOL, PL/1,
+ Basic Understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle.
+ Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies (e.g., OO).
+ Basic understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management).
+ Basic understanding of testing tools and unit test scripting, and testing methodologies.
+ Experience using (or an understanding of the use of) an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio).
+ Understanding of basic Database Administration.
+ Understanding of quality and security standards. Good verbal and written communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
