KSN Technologies, Inc. in Chesterton, IN is seeking experienced Sr. .NET Developers to assist Project Managers in developing, creating and modifying multi-tier web applications and production software on the .Net platform. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science and software development theories and principles, as well as experience developing applications on the .Net platform to perform the following job duties:
Coding and implementation of various phases of project, and preparation of project documentation and demo presentation for each phase of the application.
Involvement in application development and Unit testing.
Developing and maintaining existing applications using C# 4.0 / 5.0, VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, XML, .Net 1.1
.Net 3.5 Framework, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, (Web Forms) technologies, MVC 4.0 / 5.0.
Debugging and troubleshooting of the applications.
Involvement in client side scripting using JAVA Script and JQuery.
Designing database triggers and stored procedures.
Generating and integrating reporting modules using SSRS and SQL.
Integrating Content Management systems for attachments storage and retrieval.
Integrating External UDDI Web services with .Net applications to achieve seamless data processing.
Designing user interface web forms and implementing application logic using ASP.NET and C#.
Developing and modifying Win forms for various modules using C# and .Net.
Configuring and deploying Website using Microsoft SharePoint Server, and utilize Windows Azure for Cloud computing to maintain the Web Applications and Configuration of the Websites.
May perform other duties, as assigned.
This position supervises the work of two Jr. .NET Developers, but the position does not involve any management or staffing decisions.
THIS POSITION DOES NOT PERFORM ANY PROJECT MANAGEMENT.
Minimum requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, IT or a related STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology or Math) field of study providing the required knowledge and abilities, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position providing the required skills and abilities.
Individuals must also have demonstrable knowledge, proficiency and experience with the following:
1. .NET framework 4.X
2. Visual Studio
3. SQL Server
4. Programming languages including C#, ASP.NET, ASP, XML, XSLT, ADO.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, BootStrap, Angular JS.
5. AJAX and SOAP
6. Web Services and WCF Services
7. Reporting Services such as SSRS, SSIS and Crystal Reports
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties.
